In today’s video I’m sharing 6 “hero products” that I use either every single day or several times a week — the real workhorses that stay in my rotation for mature skin. I got the idea after watching Risa Does Makeup do a hero-products video, and I thought it would be fun to keep this one short and sweet, but still genuinely helpful. Four out of the six are skincare because I truly believe if we’re not taking care of our skin as we mature, makeup just isn’t going to look as good. I kept everything as affordable as possible, with only one product being a higher price point (and you can buy a smaller size to try it). I talk you through my favorite body lotion for dry fall/winter skin, the glow serum I use 5–6 times a week, my best one-and-done drugstore liquid eyeshadow, and the sunscreen that doubles as a primer. I also share the cleanser that saves me a whole step at night, plus my go-to budget lip oils for a glossy, comfortable finish without that sticky lip gloss feel.
