In this video I did a CLIO one-brand review and tested some of their most popular products for a full first-impressions makeup look. I started with base makeup because CLIO releases so many cushions that I honestly can’t keep track of what’s new and what’s “hot” anymore. I wore two cushions on different sides of my face: Kill Cover Founwear Cushion The Original (21C Lingerie) on my right, and Kill Cover Mesh Glow Cushion (04 Ginger) on my left, so you can actually see the finish difference side-by-side. For the Founwear, I was shocked that 21C matched my neck even though it looked a bit too fair at first, and I loved how smooth it blended on my really dry skin without clinging to dry patches. It’s more of a satin-matte, medium coverage vibe, but it can transfer if you sweat or touch your face, so you’ll want to set it. The Mesh Glow surprised me because I’m usually a semi-matte girl, but once it set, the finish looked really good and it didn’t budge as much—though I’d personally save it for winter because it can feel a bit more greasy in muggy weather. I also tried the Pro Eye Palette Air (pretty but powdery with fallout and not super pigmented), the Sharp So Simple pencil (smooth, but my wrinkly lids make winging tricky), the Kill Lash Superproof Mascara (great curl/length for my short stubby lashes), and the Crystal Glam Tint (glossy, but I had to build it more on my top lip).
