In this video I’m doing a quick mini first impressions on the (only) five beauty items I bought in China—yes guys, I was “bad behaved” but I still managed to do an almost full face. I start with the RED EARTH V10 primer/moisturizer, and I was genuinely surprised by the texture: it’s this balmy, putty-like feel that melts in like skincare. China was super drying for me (even my fingers felt like they were cracking), so I loved how smoothing and softening it felt, plus it helped blur my pores. For base, I picked up the LUNA Long Lasting Conceal Fixing Cushion because my travel cushion was basically dying in week one. Shade-wise though… it was a fail for me. I tried 21W and it turned out really, really white on my skin (porcelain white), so that one didn’t work even though the formula itself felt cooling and more hydrating than my other cushion. I also test the Pink Bear Mood Eyeshadow Palette (I’m a sucker for cute packaging, the bow got me), and it’s shockingly pigmented—great for a semi-natural smokey eye and even using the dark brown as eyeliner. Lastly, I share my lip combo with Mistine’s milk-tea nude brown base and Little Ondine’s airy matte “lip mud” on the inner lip for that rosy-mauve gradient.
