In this video I’m reviewing the new OLENS Glowy Tear collection, and I’m keeping it super focused on what you actually want to know: the diameter, the pattern, and how Gray vs Brown looks on Asian eyes—plus a few quick comparisons with other Glowy styles (like Glowy Natural, the original Glowy, and Big Glowy). Glowy Tear currently comes in two shades (Brown and Gray) and right now it’s only available as dailies, so you wear them once and chuck them out. The biggest upgrade for me is the crescent moon design being asymmetrical. I know you guys always ask if the crescent rotates, if you need to fix it, and what happens when it doesn’t stay at the bottom—so I genuinely feel like OLENS listened. Because it’s mirrored (top and bottom), even if it shifts around, it still looks intentional and gives this dewy teardrop glisten on the eye. I’m wearing Glowy Tear Gray first and… spoiler alert, it’s my favourite over Brown. The gray has this thin-but-thick-enough dark border, a cool light gray crescent, and a really pretty thin white strip that makes everything look more reflective. Brown is a creamy mocha that looks glazy and marbly—very puppy/baby-eye vibes. I’m honestly impressed, and I’m begging them for more shades like olive or a sapphire blue in this design.
