This video is part two of my one-brand JOOCYEE makeup series, and I’m focusing only on lips because I tested three shades from the same collection: the JOOCYEE Long-Lasting Glossy Rouge 2.0. I go through what the brand claims (hydrating, luminous, helps smooth out fine lines, plump glossy look, and transfer resistant), then I demo the shades with close-ups and swatches so you can actually see how they sit on the lips. Overall, the Glossy Rouge 2.0 feels super moisturizing—very balmy, glossy, and comfortable. I was honestly unsure about the transfer-proof claim at first, but once it sets, the color really doesn’t move much (you might see a bit of the oily essence transfer, but not the pigment). Shade-wise, 503 Diamond C is the sheerest on me and pulls more sparkly than pigmented, 568 Glowy Brown is the deepest with a chocolate-brown base and a reddish undertone, and 1990 Vintage Brown is a more toned-down, wearable version of that brown-red vibe. I also compare it to the Velvet Rouge in the same shade name (1990 Vintage Brown) because I got confused on the website too—and I ended up loving the velvet “second skin” feel. My fave way to wear it is velvet as a base, then 503 on top for sparkle and brightness.
