About This Video

Ever since I moved into this apartment, I’ve been slowly rebuilding my entire home office—and the one thing that kept getting ignored was this closet. In this video, I turn it into a clean, functional 3D printing workshop that actually matches the rest of my setup: part storage, part creative hub, and nothing overcomplicated. I start by emptying everything, fixing the mess left behind (I filled more than 30 holes), sanding, cleaning, and repainting the whole space white so it finally feels brand new again. From there, everything is built around one key element: a main shelf that can hold both machines. I measure properly, mount the structure, and keep the look minimal with a simple “alcove-style” shelf. Because I can’t paint the closet frame (it’s not my apartment), I vinyl wrap it instead—slow, tedious, and a bit frustrating, but the aesthetic improvement is huge. Then I unbox and set up the Creality Falcon A1 laser engraver and the Creality K2 enclosed 3D printer with the CFS, add a SKÅDIS backboard for flexible tool organization, and fix vibrations by adding a vertical panel for rigidity. I finish everything off with a custom magnet-mounted softbox light, simple cable management, and I remove the doors to speed up my workflow and make the space feel bigger.
