In this first episode of KICK SNARE (C)HAT, I’m introducing what this show is and why Adam and I wanted to start it in the first place. The whole idea is to have real drummer/musician conversations—less “perfect studio talk” and more the stuff we actually deal with: how we got into music, what pushed us to keep going, and how that eventually turned into the work we do now. We also get into our backstories—where we started, the moments that shaped us, and how our paths evolved from being stoked on drums and music into building careers around it. If you’re a working drummer, a weekend gigger, or you’re just trying to figure out your lane in music, this episode sets the tone: honest, practical, and rooted in the reality of being a musician.
