The Green Swizzle pre-dates the Queen's Park Swizzle and in the early 1900s was one of the most popular cocktails out of the Caribbean. The key to the drink is a quality falernum and wormwood bitters. The recipe from 1908 may have been syndicated in the United States, which would have lead to even more popularity and wider distribution of the recipe. *Falernum:* If you want to make your own, I'd recommend the Tropical Standard version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJ2Q4OS5n3k *Wormwood Bitters* Imbibe: https://amzn.to/4lSGcge Art of Drink: https://www.artofdrink.com/bitters/wormwood-bitters Cocktail Kingdom: https://cocktailkingdom.com/products/wormwood-bitters-5oz There are a handful of other wormwood bitters producers, but I have not tried them. _recipes at the bottom of the description_ *_Some links below are affiliate links that may lead to a commission paid to the channel_* *Full Amazon Store:* https://www.amazon.com/shop/makeanddrink πŸ‹ *Best Citrus Hand Juicer:* https://amzn.to/4bU1tjY 🍍 *My Big Juicer of Choice:* https://amzn.to/4k5xkSE 🧊 *Nugget Ice and Tools:* https://amzn.to/3yH3zFe 🌺 *Cocktail Garnish Game:* https://amzn.to/3UQ8v26 🍷 *Glassware:* https://amzn.to/4bOK2SA πŸ“š *Cocktail Books:* https://amzn.to/3WwwR19 🍾 *Crew Bottles with removable base:* Save 20% on your first order with the link below: https://crewsupplyco.refr.cc/Crew-Affiliate/u/makeanddrinkvideos?s=sp&t=cp ✨ *From the MakeAndDrink Shop* ✨ Find Mai Tai glasses, enamel pins, tasting glasses, and some of my own personal glassware for sale at the MaD Shop: https://make-and-drink-shop.fourthwall.com ❄️ *Favorite Slushie Machines* ❄️ *Ninja SLUSHi Max* Amazon: https://amzn.to/42OhZzU Walmart: https://walmrt.us/48CcEyE *Ninja SLUSHi* Amazon: https://amzn.to/3VbzhTI Walmart: https://walmrt.us/49HYFZk *HiCozy:* https://amzn.to/4pM8VFq *Ecoviva:* https://amzn.to/4nzAPmP β˜ƒοΈ *Margarita Man Mixes:* https://margaritaman.com/?ref=qcqzwaia Use Code *MakeAndDrink* for 15% off _Order in increments of 6 to get free shipping_ 🎬 *Tools I use to make Videos* *A Camera:* https://amzn.to/4eyoXwq *B Camera:* https://amzn.to/3YbkU3B *Microphone:* https://amzn.to/3XQ70m2 *Lights:* https://amzn.to/3XYE4Z2 *Music:* https://epidemicsound.com/referral/0p0ysi 🎢 MaD Playlist: https://www.epidemicsound.com/playlist/jc578rte2ii0xcl5aaq5vn8tz7l6fv81/ πŸ“– *Episode Chapters* πŸ“– 00:00 Introduction 02:21 Making the 1908 Green Swizzle 02:56 Drinking the 1908 Green Swizzle 04:10 Making another Green Swizzle 04:55 Drinking another Green Swizzle πŸ“ *Recipe(s)* πŸ“ *From 1908* _In the video I used 2 tbsp or rum and 1 tbsp or falernum.
