I was skeptical at first that this machine would be any different than the MAX or XL models and for the most part it is very similar, but overall, I think the idea of having 2 tanks. And while you could just get two different slushie machines, having 2 tanks in the same machines just means that I am more likely to use both sides. The only downsides I've really had so far is that it's a little bigger than the others and you have twice the cleaning. Wish each tank was a little bigger as well. I then take that number and multiply it by 0.9 (0.85 is more accurate). Add that much sugar. Let macerate overnight in a vacuum bag or ziplock. Then strain through a fine mesh sieve. If you want to get close to the recipe's 5 ½ (165 ml), then I'd use 200 grams of strawberries to 180 grams of sugar.
