The Pacifica Punch was created by Trader Vic as a companion to the Pacific design trend that launched just 1 year earlier. This style was all about influences from Japan and the Pacific. Add all ingredients to a crock, rinds included, except for rum. Let it stand overnight. Next day, add rum, strain and discard fruit pulp. Pour into a barrel or punch bowl with ice. Let it chill as long as you can stand it. Then "blow the starting whistle" and serve in coconut cups.
