Back in 1964 @7UP released the booklet "Great Drinks Made Simple with an Assist from 7Up" which featured dozens of cocktails featuring rum, gin, bourbon, and vodka. The rum drinks are what originally piqued my interest, but when trying to come up with a logical *7* cocktails to make I had to expand that to more spirits. The ones I picked out were all ones that seemed either good, interesting or far out there.
