Right now my family has been staying with my parents while everything gets finished up at our new house, and I’m honestly soaking up this little in-between season. The area we’re in is a bit more rural than what we’re used to, but it is absolutely gorgeous—one of my favorite coastal Maine towns. This short vlog is basically a peek into what I do as a mom who does not like to stay home with her toddler: I go hunt down small, easy outings that feel fun and doable. Today we headed downtown to check out the local library because I read there was a children’s room. And you guys… it had literally everything and more. We colored, explored, and just had the sweetest low-key toddler moment (yes, there was dinosaur talk and a very important “green doggy” situation). After that, we tried to swing by our absolute favorite coffee shop for a treat—because we can’t come downtown and not stop—but winter hours got us. We’ll be back for the treats (and the bread cup), and then it was home to see Papa and Nana.
