In this video I’m showing you a really simple but brilliant little feature on the Bernina 790 — you can actually name your machine. I absolutely love this because it makes your machine feel properly yours, and you can put in anything you like. It’s one of those small settings that’s easy to miss, but once you’ve done it you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it sooner. The extra tip I share is to add your email address as part of the name. If you ever send your machine to the dealer for a service, and they somehow got machines mixed up, yours is instantly recognisable because your details are right there on the screen. It’s such a great idea for peace of mind, especially if your machine is in and out of the shop. Even if you’ve got a different Bernina model, the same idea can still be useful — make it personal, make it practical, and make it easy to identify.
