I’m finally moved, and I wanted to show you what things look like right now—before it all starts looking pretty and organised. Honestly, it’s a right mess at the moment, and that’s simply because the packers have put everything into boxes without any of the logic we sewists would normally use. If you’ve ever moved house with a sewing hobby (or a full sewing room!), you’ll know that the “where on earth is that?” stage is very real. The big takeaway in this update is that I did make one key decision to keep myself sane: I packed my sewing things myself. That means the only room that should have sewing stuff in it will have sewing stuff in it, and I’m hoping that helps me get back to stitching sooner rather than later. It’s going to be slow getting everything organised, but I’m taking it step by step—and I’ll share the progress as I turn chaos into a cosy, workable sewing space again.
