In this third (and final) video of my Halloween place mat series, I’m finishing off the Designs by JuJu in-the-hoop Halloween placemat and pulling everything together so it looks neat, flat, and properly “done”. I’ve really enjoyed making this one—there are lots of little stages that feel satisfying as you go, and it’s a great project if you want something seasonal without committing to a huge quilt. I’m working through the final steps and sharing what I found fun (and what to watch out for) so you can enjoy the process too. I also point you to the exact design I used, plus the earlier parts of the series (Video 1 and Video 2) so you can follow along from the beginning if you need to. If you’re gathering supplies, I’ve linked the fabric source I used and the Flexi Foam I mention for structure. The big takeaway is that this is absolutely doable as a home sewing/embroidery project—take it step-by-step, keep it tidy as you go, and you’ll end up with a really cute Halloween placemat that’s sturdy enough to use year after year.
