In this Tokyo day, I’m exploring Shibuya + Harajuku and basically doing my favorite combo: views, cute stores, and desserts. We start with Shibuya Sky—yes the observatory where you can see Shibuya Crossing from the top. I was honestly a little scared because literally kal hi earthquake aaya tha, and being that high up made it feel extra real. Plus it was super windy and cold (there was even a tsunami alert vibe going on), so I was like… okay, warm jacket is a must. I also give my real review: if you’re choosing between Tokyo Skytree and Shibuya Sky, I personally prefer Shibuya Sky because it’s open-air, the city views look so pretty, and the crowd felt more controlled since they limit people per slot. But both are different experiences, so if you have time, you can do both. After that, I’m back to my food mode—trying desserts at a Ginza corner place (strawberry + cream cheese was so good, and the chocolate one was my favorite). Then we head to Harajuku/Takeshita Street for shopping vibes and I try crepe for the first time (yes, first time!), plus I test one of those jelly-drink things you shake and freeze.
