In this video I’m unboxing my 2025 Hobonichi haul and chatting through what I picked up (and what I absolutely did not manage to snag). So many of us get excited for Hobonichi launch season, and it’s been genuinely fun seeing everyone’s carts—while also hearing the horror stories of trying to grab the exclusive items. I was right there with you: I left empty-handed on the Unsodo paper sets and the neon green Q-rais Suki Usagi drawer pouch, which still stings a little. The fun part, though, is that I ended up with a clear color palette for my picks—everything is inspired by the Unsodo series. I’m kind of obsessed with the fact that these prints are over 100 years old and somehow still feel so current and trend-setting heading into 2025. You’ll probably notice I’m a bit harried in this one because I was under a real time crunch and had to film before heading out of town, but I still wanted to get this cozy stationery moment up for you.
