Hey! I've recently decided to try the Advanced Vocal Chatbot to see if it would be a great tool to improve language speaking skills. Is it useful to practise language alone, without a teacher? I've tried speaking Italian, English and French. Let me know what you think about it and if you'd like to see another language too! About This Video

In this video I decided to properly test ChatGPT’s advanced vocal assistant as a speaking practice tool — the kind of practice you can do alone, without a teacher. I speak three languages with it (Italian, English, and French) to see how natural the conversation feels, how easy it is to keep talking, and whether it can actually support real speaking progress instead of giving you that “miracle method” vibe. I show what it’s like in each language and then I share my honest opinions: what I like about it (especially for getting more speaking time and lowering the barrier to start) and what I’d be careful with (because AI can still be inconsistent and it’s not the same as a trained teacher who catches patterns and guides you). My main takeaway is that it can be a useful tool if you use it realistically: as extra speaking reps, with clear prompts and goals, and with your own reflection afterwards — not as a replacement for proper feedback or a full learning plan.
