About This Video

Alreyt folks — in this one I’m out and about again with Travels, and we’re having a proper wander round the Wirral Guitar Show (Mojo Guitar Show) in Port Sunlight, over the other side of the Wirral from Liverpool. It’s in Hume Hall, it’s busy, and it’s basically wall-to-wall guitars, pedals, straps, pickups, amps, and random bits you didn’t know you needed until you see ’em on a table. I’m chatting to loads of people, bumping into familiar faces, and clocking everything from “nice cheaper one for anybody starting off” right up to the stuff where there’s no price tag and you start to worry. I’m keeping it real on the budget metal gear angle too — pointing out good starter options like Yamaha Pacificas (massively underrated), affordable basses if you’re not really a bass player (I’m not), and the kind of used pedals and practical bits that actually make sense for home studios. I also pop over to mates like Bank Tracks and Affordable Board, because I’ve already done vids on some of their pedals and they’re proper sound. There’s some genuinely cool oddball stuff as well: acrylic guitars, aluminium builds, weird teles with series wiring, and plenty of “I don’t need one… I don’t need more” moments. And yeah… there may have been one or two purchases — you’ll have to watch and see.
