In this sketchbook tour I’m flipping through my “one sketch a day” journal and sharing what actually happened when I tried sketching every day for a whole year. I talk honestly about the parts people don’t always show: the messy pages, the days I really didn’t feel like drawing, and how perfectionism can quietly ruin the fun if you let it. This project taught me to accept imperfections on the page and to treat my sketchbook as a place to practice and be human, not a portfolio. I also share what it looked like to abandon the challenge for a while, and how I found my way back without turning it into a guilt-spiral. I learned that consistency doesn’t have to mean “never missing a day” — it can mean returning again and again, even after a break.
