In this studio rearrange with me, I’m sharing how I organised my art space so it’s actually easy to use every single day (instead of becoming a “pretty room” I avoid). I move things around with a very simple goal: my most-used supplies need to be within arm’s reach, and everything else should have a calm, logical home. I also add more framed artworks to the walls to make the space feel cosy and inspiring, and I chat through the little decisions that make a big difference—like what I want to see when I sit down with a cup of tea and open my sketchbook. I also unbox and set up a light walnut 3-tier art trolley from Meeden (gifted as part of a collaboration) and show what I put inside it. It’s one of those practical pieces that helps me keep current projects and favourite tools visible, so I’m more likely to paint, journal, and make things without “setting up” for ages first. Along the way, I share a few of my favourite studio touches—like thrifted trinkets, storage boxes, and even a lampshade I made—because for me, a functional studio should still feel soft, personal, and cozy.
