In this video I’m taking you along with me as I prepare for our Open Studios group exhibition, in that very real mix of excitement, nerves, and “okay, what do I still need to finish?” energy. I share a behind-the-scenes look at setting up my table in the gallery, thinking through what feels cohesive to show, and how I like to keep things calm and cozy even when it’s a busy exhibition day. It’s very much a gentle studio vlog—tea absolutely encouraged. I also bring you with me through some sketching from life, both outdoors and indoors, and I flip through the sketches I managed to do while being in the gallery. On top of that, I’m finishing up ceramic pieces from my 8-week pottery course, and I show a few of those whimsical bits as they come together.
