Vlogmas Day 8 was one of those “okay Kait, we’re doing this” kind of days—because I had a stack of custom Etsy orders staring at me and a very real deadline. In this vlog I’m pushing to finish ALL my customs: 9 plushies in 2 days. I’m bouncing between assembly, details, and that final polish that makes a plushie feel truly heirloom-quality (you know I’m picky about shaping and finishing). It’s busy, it’s a little chaotic, but it’s also so satisfying watching the order pile disappear. I chat through the reality of custom work—how production mode feels, what I prioritize when I’m cranking out multiple plushies, and why getting everything shipped is such a mental reset. I also share what I’m using and loving for these makes (chenille yarns like Alize Velluto and Premier’s plush lines), plus some of my go-to tools that help me work faster without sacrificing quality.
