Chaos Crochet Challenge number 3 is officially in the books, and March’s “Boyfriend Challenge” was… a doozy. Nick wrote me 12 challenges for the year (one per month), and this one had me working through a bunch of obstacles before I could even decide what I was making. In this video I walk you through the whole process—what the challenge was, how I interpreted it, what went sideways, and how I problem-solved my way to a finished plushie. I share what I made, what I’d do differently next time, and the little decisions that matter when you’re trying to get that heirloom-quality look—especially when you’re working with soft, chunky chenille yarns.
