In this video I lay out the exact 90-day roadmap we used to make the transition—no fluff—just the real steps: build the foundation, scale the demand, then optimize what’s working. Month one is foundation. I’m talking domain + website (I learned the hard way—Squarespace took forever and didn’t look great; tools like Base44/Lovable make it way easier), plus insurance and business setup. For insurance, what works depends on your city, but if you’re serious about private rentals, the two I call out are GMI and especially Roamly. Then you build a real booking funnel (I like Wheelbase because you can sell insurance on top), connect payments (Stripe is the cleanest), set up Google My Business, and do a soft launch to test every button and every step. Month two is marketing and transition. I like Google for private rentals, and the key is forcing traffic through your website so you can capture emails/phone numbers and fix conversion issues fast.
