In this video I’m doing a super easy Valentine’s Day makeup look using (almost) a full face of new drugstore makeup. I did have to swap a couple steps with Sephora Collection because I didn’t have a new concealer or brow product, but everything is still really affordable and budget-friendly. I started with the NYX Make ‘Em Wonder Soft Matte Buildable Foundation and honestly… I’m impressed. It looked really natural and smoothing on my skin, built up nicely on my spot areas, and it felt like it kind of set itself so I didn’t need a ton of powder. For eyes, I tried the Quo Beauty duo in Mauve Magic and it was such a win—one matte and one shimmer, perfect for a soft glam pink moment. Then I tested the viral CoverGirl Skin Enhancer bronzer and blush that everyone says gives Hourglass vibes. The bronzer looked a little orange on me at first (products pull peachy/orange on me), but once everything came together it looked really pretty. I finished with the NYX Buttermelt highlighter (pretty, but a bit more golden than I wanted), Maybelline’s Lifter lip liner in Big Lift (obsessed—perfect everyday shade), and the CoverGirl Squishy lip balm in Toasted Vanilla Marshmallow… I picked it for the scent and it smells so good it’s honestly nostalgic.
