In this video I’m finally creating my dream makeup vanity and turning our spare room into a way more functional workspace. We just got all new furniture (a new makeup desk, a corner work desk, and a wardrobe for extra storage), and my main focus today is getting my vanity area clean, cute, and actually usable for everyday makeup and filming. I start by clearing everything off, wiping it down, and setting up the pieces I’ll use daily—because if it’s not easy to grab, I just won’t reach for it. I also show you the organization products I picked up, like drawer organizers, clear bins, a travel perfume organizer (my travel sprays were constantly falling over), and a silicone mat because I literally get makeup everywhere and I’m not trying to destroy my desk. Then I go through drawers that were giving me anxiety, declutter old palettes I never use, and sort products into “use all the time” vs “sometimes” so it feels less overwhelming. By the end, my drawers are way more organized, I’ve decluttered two big garbage bags worth of stuff, and the vanity is looking so much more put together. I also unbox a couple cute decor pieces (fake plants and a small pencil holder) to start finishing off the space.
