In today’s video I’m sharing my August favorites, and honestly it was such a good month for haircare and skincare. I switched to mostly drugstore hair products (which I haven’t done in forever) and I’m so glad I did. I’m walking you through my exact wash routine: Pantene Sheer Volume as my first “clarifying” shampoo to really remove buildup, then Dove Intensive Repair shampoo + conditioner to bring hydration back in and leave my hair soft, silky, and actually smelling good. I also talk about the OGX Coconut Oil Hydrating Mist as my lightweight pre-wash oil, and the K18 Heat Bounce conditioning heat protectant because it detangles, smooths, and protects without feeling heavy. For skincare, I’m loving a double cleanse moment with the Anua cleansing oil (removes makeup beautifully without leaving me greasy) and their pore-clearing foam as more of a once-or-twice-a-week deep cleanse because it can get a little drying if I overdo it. For daily cleansing, the Drunk Elephant Mello Marula Cream Cleanser has been amazing for my redness and not stripping my skin. I also share a sunscreen I’m genuinely impressed by and a body care product that helped my summer armpit dermatitis.
