This vlog is basically my first week energy as a NUS exchange student in Singapore—starting with the simple little moments that make everything feel real. I’m heading from my apartment over to U Town for lunch/breakfast, showing you the pool area (it’s literally so nice), and doing a quick “outfit/jewelry of the day” because I picked up new pieces from Turtle, this super cheap jewelry place that’s actually so nice. I also share my first impressions of Singapore: it feels really clean, really green, and honestly the transit is so comfy. The buses are air-conditioned and super clean, which makes getting around way less stressful—especially when you’re still figuring everything out. Since it’s my first day of school, I’m excited to meet locals and other exchange students, explore campus, and scope out what classes I want to take. We end up stopping by a fruit market too, grabbing things like dragon fruit, and it’s just a casual, “come with me” start to my exchange diaries (even though the footage is older, I’m trying to post more consistently).
