About This Video

I just got done with my Sunday live stream and a bunch of you asked for an updated 2026 guitar collection tour, so I walked through what I’m actually using right now—amps, cabs, pedals, and the guitars that are staying (and the stuff I’m moving). On the amp side, I start with my 1x12 Bogner Cube loaded with an old Celestion 65, and I talk about why cabinet size matters and why I like blending a tight 1x12 with a big 4x12. I also show my block-logo Peavey 5150—one of my favorite rock amps ever—plus a couple killer vintage Marshall cabs (basketweave and pinstripe) that, in my opinion, can totally transform almost any tube head. From there I get into my modded Marshall DSL50 (choke + late-’60s style output transformer), my “turn everything to 12” Fender Pro Junior, and my current workhorse: the Kemper (I’m running basically one profile—my 68 Plexi—and calling it a day). I’m pretty blunt about why I’m over unreliable vintage amps and expensive Nashville tech bills, and why I’d rather put money into instruments. Then I run through the guitars: a new Suhr Strat that changed my mind about Strats, multiple Les Pauls I’ve heavily spec’d and modded, a Pelham Blue SG reissue and a real ’64 SG, a Murphy Lab 335 plus a real ’64 ES-335, a 1942 Banner J-45 that floored me, and a Danelectro baritone tuned to B.
