The movers wrapped everything properly and loaded a huge truck, and I honestly recommend using a good team if you’re doing this solo. The real chaos was the timing—I had a flight right after, and cleaning an empty apartment under pressure is not fun. My biggest takeaway: don’t move and travel back-to-back if you can avoid it, and if friends offer help, take it.
