I finally got behind the wheel and drove alone for the first time… and it didn’t exactly go as planned. 😅 What was supposed to be a chill solo drive quickly turned into a mini crash that I’ll never forget. In this video, I share the full story from what happened, what I learned, and advice for any new drivers out there. Lexus Canada/ Toronto if you see this I would love to work with you! About This Video

In this video, I’m still learning how to drive, and I decided to take the car out alone for the first time. I didn’t even pass my G when I was in Canada, so this was already a big step for me. What I thought would be a chill solo drive turned into a failed mission really fast—I came out of a steep spot, had to be extra careful, and I ended up breaking something. I was stressed, annoyed, and honestly just trying to make it back home without making things worse. While I’m driving, I also explain the biggest differences I’ve noticed between driving here and in Canada. Here, nobody waits—people are always in a hurry, the streets feel like there are “no rules,” and I’ve noticed drivers don’t stop for pedestrians the same way I’m used to. On top of that, my side mirrors were down and I had to figure out how to open them mid-drive, which made everything even more frustrating. The main takeaway: driving isn’t funny, especially when you’re new, but I’m going to keep practicing for the next couple weeks—and for me, the Lexus has been the only car I’ve felt genuinely comfortable driving so far.
