In this OOTD, I’m showing you how I like to style knee high socks because lately I’ve been buying more interesting socks and hosiery, and I wanted to actually wear them in real outfits (not just let them sit in my drawer). I put together a few different looks using mostly my newer haul pieces, and I play around with sock height too—fully stretched to the knee versus slightly slouched—because it seriously changes the vibe and how your legs look on camera. I start with a school-uniform inspired fit (khaki pleated skirt, cropped button-up, cardigan, and a black headband), then go super girly/ballerina core with a white pleated skirt, bows on the socks, and my highest heels just for the video. After that, I get into my favorite styling rule: if you’re wearing black knee highs, pair them with black shoes (Mary Janes, loafers, or pumps) because black-on-black looks so clean—then you can pop a color like pastel pink for that “Chanel 95” moment. I also show how gray knee highs elevate two-piece sets and give UK/British prep vibes with loafers, a tie, and even a gray blazer for a subtle contrast that feels less “all black and depressing.”
