Hi guys, in this OOTD 146 lookbook I’m finally showing you the new accessories I’ve been dying to style: waist chains (very Chanel inspo, very tea party coated). I put together a bunch of outfits from my closet—mostly capsule wardrobe vibes—then used the waist chains to cinch my waist, add contrast, and basically make the whole fit feel more “put together” without buying a whole new outfit. You’ll see me mix a black corset off-shoulder moment with knee-high platform boots and a leather beret for that cool girl energy, then switch into an all-white Mary Jane + pleated skirt look with a black camellia flower detail for contrast. I also styled a navy-and-gold preppy set (color theory wise, it’s so good), plus my all-black “office sleek wear” fit with my tweed jacket where the double-layer chain was literally what was missing. And yes, I did a little power suit heel swap to go more corporate. I end with a bonus black mock-neck mini dress look to show how a simple dangly chain can elevate basics—and I talk about how waist chains aren’t just for “skinny people.” Sometimes I use them to distract from my little pouch, and that’s okay—love your body, but also solutions for every girly.
