In this OOTD lookbook, I’m doing an updated cargo pants styling video because I know I did one wayyyy back (like 5 years ago), and my style has definitely evolved. I’m showing you a few different ways I like to wear cargo pants—from super casual, street, and sporty, to more elevated “baddie” vibes with heels. Cargo is naturally more on the casual/boyish side, so I’m basically playing with proportions and layering to make it feel more intentional and cute. I start with one of my favorite easy fits: khaki cargo pants with Adidas Sambas, a basic white tank, and a Dodgers/baseball jersey layered on top—very street, very casual, and honestly perfect for a baseball game (Go Dodgers). Then I switch into a monochromatic streetwear moment with a fall/winter jacket over cargos and Sambas, because the colorway and silhouette just hits. After that, I bring in my “fun pants” cargo pair I picked up in New York for $20—more straight-leg with extra pockets that balance the leg—and I style them with a mesh top for a playful, rave-ready look. Finally, I show a slicked-back ponytail + black bodysuit “Khloé Kardashian” baddie fit, and a more modest/preppy headband look to prove cargo pants can be experimental and still feel like you.
