In this video I’m unboxing and trying on a big AliExpress haul I placed before those tariffs hit—mostly accessories because I’m really trying to elevate my fashion. I feel like I have the basics down, but accessories honestly make an outfit, so I went in on headbands, hair bows, barrettes, brooches, sunglasses, socks, and a few practical things like phone cases and hair ties. I also share little fit/quality notes as I go (like being careful because some of the cheap pieces can break), and I’ll tell you straight up when something is a win or when it’s giving “teacher” on me. For clothes, I tried two knit “self-portrait dupe” style dresses: a bright pink mini that’s actually cute but a little too bright for my personal taste, and a dark red knit dress that has pockets but fits awkwardly on my short-girly proportions (I’d have to tailor it to cinch the waist and shorten it). My favorite surprise at the end was the Dior-style pajama set dupe in navy—super cute, real pockets, fits perfectly in a size small, and it’s the kind of set that makes me feel dressed up even in PJs.
