In this video I break down how I use Anki to study engineering without turning it into a complicated “productivity system.” I keep the setup basic and focused on consistency: a simple deck structure, a clean workflow for adding cards, and a review routine that I can actually stick to alongside lectures, problem sets, and life. The goal isn’t to memorize everything—it’s to offload the right facts and patterns so I can spend more time doing engineering problems. I walk through three parts: my basic setup, how I add cards, and how I review. When I add, I’m trying to capture the smallest useful piece of information—definitions, key relationships, common mistakes, and the steps I always forget—so my future self can recall it quickly. Then the review is about showing up every day, keeping the queue under control, and letting spaced repetition do its job.
