About This Video

In this video I’m thinking out loud about how AI is going to change learning in a way that’s bigger than just “faster homework.” I use Einstein and Richard Feynman as anchors because they represent two things I care about as a minimalist student: clear thinking and deep understanding. The point isn’t to worship geniuses—it’s to notice how they learned, how they simplified problems, and how they built intuition. Then I compare that to what AI can do now: explain, generate examples, quiz you, and basically act like an always-on tutor. But I also talk about the trap: if you outsource the thinking, you don’t actually learn. The future of learning (at least the future I want) is using AI to remove friction—getting unstuck, tightening feedback loops, and practicing more deliberately—while still doing the hard part yourself. My takeaway is simple: AI will reward people who have good questions, good systems, and the patience to learn properly. If you keep your workflow minimal and your standards high, AI becomes leverage instead of a crutch.
