The TDX Studios Jetliner Switch is a new budget mechanical switch from a Malaysian Brand, TDX Studios. Priced competitvely at RM 0.85 per switch (USD 0.20) it's honestly a great and reasonable option. About This Video

Hey, it’s Sam here. In this video I take a look at the TDX Studios Jetliner switch — a new budget linear switch from a Malaysian brand that’s priced at RM0.85 per switch (around USD0.20). I start with the unboxing and packaging, and honestly the presentation is really nice: a custom TDX box with force travel diagrams for both variants, plus a tray and a couple of reference cards (thank you card + compatibility card). Then I go into the design and specs: bright red housing, LED cutout, 5-pin layout, and the internals like a black modified POM stem that comes factory lubed, a 22mm single-stage steel spring, a modified polycarbonate top housing, and a PA66 + fiberglass bottom with a tightly lubed copper leaf spring. You get two spring weights (43g and 50g), but both share 1.8mm pre-travel and 3.8mm total travel — and to my ears they sound basically the same. For performance, I found the Jetliner to be smooth out of the box with decent stability and not much stem wobble. I personally prefer the 43g version since I do a lot of typing and gaming. Sound-wise, I think it shines most on a polycarbonate plate with PET sheet and poron foam, giving that deeper clacky / marbly sound. Overall, if you’re upgrading from your first mechanical keyboard, this is a really reasonable budget switch to try.
