In this video, I review the GravaStar Mercury V60 Pro HE, a super fast 60% hall effect gaming keyboard with a futuristic skeletal aluminum design. I go through the full unboxing (you get a braided USB-C cable, cleaning tools, pullers, extra UFO magnetic switches, and even an extra black spacebar), then break down the layout details like the side RGB lighting, onboard profile indicator, and the profile switcher button. I’m using the chrome silver version here, and the overall build feels premium with a fully aluminum case that weighs about 875g. I also do a teardown to show what’s actually inside: a top-mounted aluminum plate, a 2-pin hot-swap south-facing HE PCB with per-key RGB, plate-mounted stabilizers, and five layers of sound dampening (Poron plate foam + switch pad, PET acoustic sheet, Poron case foam, and thick silicone). After that, I cover the GravaStar web-based driver where you can set actuation from 0.005 to 3.5mm, enable rapid trigger, adjust dead zones and polling rate, calibrate keys, remap layers for Windows/Mac, and even use advanced HE features like SOCD plus controller emulation. For performance, it’s stacked: 8,000Hz polling, 256,000Hz per-key scan rate, and claimed 0.125ms latency. I test it in games (Valorant, Marvel Rivals) and finish with a typing sound test—this board is surprisingly “thocky” for hall effect, which is honestly pretty rare.
