About This Video

Hey, it’s Sam here. In this video I review the Morgrie AIR68 (Morg 68) — a wireless low-profile 65% keyboard with a CNC aluminum case and a clean, minimal look, priced at just $89. I unbox everything you get (manual, braided USB-A to USB-C cable, 2.4GHz dongle, puller, extra Mac keycaps) and go over the design details like the rounded aluminum chassis, the small RGB light bar on the front, the side-mounted Type-C port, and the tri-mode switch. Then I tear it down and show you what’s actually inside: the case screws hidden under the feet, the dual batteries totaling 4000mAh, the daughterboard for the port/switch, and the internal dampening like the switch pad and insulation layer. It’s also gasket mounted with a polycarbonate plate, has pre-lubed low-profile plate-mount stabs with minimal rattle, and uses Kailh White Rain low-profile linear switches for that clean, clacky sound. I also cover software and performance — it’s VIA compatible (with the JSON), so you can remap layers, set macros, and control the light bar. Finally, I do a full typing sound test and wrap up my thoughts: for around $90, this is one of the most premium-feeling low-profile wireless boards I’ve tested, and it’s hard to beat for the price.
