I go through the unboxing first (you get the right-angle USB-C cable, puller, stickers, and even four extra Redragon Ultra Mag magnetic switches), then I break down the design: 96% layout, a volume knob on the top right, indicator lights by the numpad, and a mostly plastic build that still comes in at around 820g. After that, I cover what’s actually inside and what matters for feel and sound: rounded OEM-profile doubleshot PBT shine-through keycaps, plate-mounted stabilizers that are pre-lubed, a gasket-mounted aluminum plate for a bit of flex, and a 2-pin hot-swap north-facing Hall Effect PCB with per-key RGB. There’s also Poron foam between the plate and PCB plus bottom case foam to help dampen the typing sound, which you’ll hear in the sound test. I also walk through the software (both web-based and local), where you can remap keys, make macros, tune actuation from 0.1 to 3.4mm, adjust polling rate, calibrate keys, and enable Hall Effect features like SOCD.
