About This Video

In this video, I tested the Redragon OTIIM K729 Pro, a wireless TKL (10-keyless) keyboard with a volume knob and custom silent switches that sits around the $50 mark. I unbox everything you get, including the Type-C to C cable with a Type-A adapter, puller tools, and the board itself. I’m using the white/gray colorway here, and the first thing you’ll notice is the tasteful design: the top-right Redragon logo, an RGB light bar above the arrow keys, side RGB, and that vertically-mounted knob next to Esc. I also break down what’s inside: OEM-profile doubleshot PBT keycaps, Redragon’s silent peach switches (smooth and quiet, but a bit mushy like most silent switches), plate-mount stabs with light lube, and a gasket-mounted flex-cut polycarbonate plate. You’re getting a 5-pin hot-swap south-facing PCB with per-key RGB, a 4000mAh battery, and multiple layers of sound dampening. I go through the K729 RGB Pro driver too—profiles, remaps, RGB effects (including sound-reactive), and macros—then wrap up with a typing sound test and my final thoughts. Overall, if you specifically need a quiet budget keyboard for work or daily use, this is a solid pick.
