In this video I’m sharing a little “things I’ve been loving lately” catch-up—very summer, very studio-brain, and basically a peek into what’s been keeping me inspired outside of making. I talk through a mix of books I’ve been devouring, artists and designers I keep coming back to, and a few objects and rituals that have made my days feel calmer and more intentional. It’s not a haul vibe at all—more like a personal moodboard of references I’m feeding myself while I’m building my little world of objects. I go from art and design rabbit holes (like Isamu Noguchi’s stone sculptures and a deep Pinterest dive into basketry weaving) to practical, comforting favourites like good soap and a hydrating mist that feels perfect in the heat. On the reading side, I share titles that range from art history and feminism (Katy Hessel, bell hooks) to novels and niche curiosities like Japanese packaging. If you like studio diaries, glaze tests, and ceramics, this is the “what’s on my desk / in my head” companion video—because all of this stuff inevitably ends up influencing what I make and how I see form, texture, and colour.
