This video is a proper studio update, and it’s all about the new production shelf—aka the thing I’ve been trying to get into the studio forever. I went with the IKEA IVAR system, but I didn’t want it to look like it just came straight out of the box, so we took three full days to sand, stain, and oil every single piece before assembling it. It’s a lot of work up front, but for me it’s worth it when the studio feels cohesive and the storage actually supports how I’m making and packing work. Along the way, I swap out my ceiling paper lamp (small change, big vibe shift), chat through a few of the books I keep in the studio, and do a bit of plant care. It’s a slower, practical kind of video—less “big reveal,” more the real behind-the-scenes of setting up a space that can handle production, orders, and all the in-between mess.
