YGTUT discovered his passion for music at 12 after stumbling upon a recording studio in a Jamaican restaurant. After the restaurant was raided, the studio equipment ended up with his father, allowing him to set up his first home studio. He experimented with music in high school and later teamed up with producer Tiggy K Tovin. Their collaboration led to Preacher’s Son, a breakthrough project that gained widespread recognition. Despite their differences now, YGTUT remains grateful for their work and its lasting impact.
