Hello and welcome back home. In this video, I’m giving my kitchen countertop a cozy, organic refresh—nothing big, just small changes that make the space feel fresh and enjoyable to be in. I start with an instant cozy upgrade: textiles. I swapped in my new soft, light, linen-like curtains (even though I originally planned them for autumn), and it immediately made my kitchen window feel calmer. Then I share a simple DIY moment—my husband made me a cute little tier shelf from spare wood, and that little shelf honestly inspired this whole countertop refresh. From there, I clean and reset my busiest cooking corner (because it gets crowded fast), and I show you how I like to style with warmth and function—ceramic oil bottles on a wooden stand, a planter for everyday wooden utensils, and cozy layers like cotton placemats and kitchen towels in earthy floral/block prints. I also refresh a few drawers using drawer dividers (one of my favorite organizers) and share what’s been working so well for me: a tiered lazy susan for decanted, often-used spices so nothing gets lost and restocking stays easy. And my favorite part—my mini little tea station, which truly feels like my own tiny cafe corner for slow tea moments.
