Over time, I’ve realized organizing isn’t about finding the “perfect container.” It’s about simplifying around your daily needs so life feels less stressful and more enjoyable. I start with my favorite foundation: containing everyday items (cleaning supplies, pantry items, bath products, even clothes) so everything has one defined home. I also love using the same organizers in multiple areas—like refrigerator bins that I use in the fridge, pantry, and even my medicine cabinet—because it makes decisions easier and lets me move things around as needed. I share how dedicated spaces for frequently used items (first aid, documents, living room essentials) reduce random piles, and how keeping “only what we actually use” helped me stop stationery from accumulating. I also talk about the 80/20 trick to reduce visual clutter—keeping most things inside cabinets and only a few functional decor items out. Finally, I share my rotation system for clothes and linens, plus easy closet tips like color-coding, using the same velvet hangers, and simple bins where I can “toss” everyday home clothes without folding everything.
