About This Video

In this Spring Vlog, I’m debriefing my first spring weekend and my very first food market experience—plus I’m giving you my brutally honest review. I started the day in full “I’m excited but I’m confused” mode, trying to do everything at once (lashes, brows, jewelry, outfit, shower—everything) because I really wanted to look cute and smell good all day. I met up with my friend at the mall, waited around a bit, and headed to the event with the highest expectations… and I’m a homebody, so when I finally leave the house, I need it to be worth it. What I expected was a proper food market: lots of stalls, different options, and food ready when you say the event starts. What I got was cloudy weather, wind, barely any good lighting for pictures, and honestly… no food for most of the day. There were only a few stalls, the stage wasn’t even fully set up, and by the time food trucks started setting up (around 6:30/7), I was already overstimulated, cold, and tired. I still tried to give the organizer grace (because what if it was their first event), but my main takeaway is simple: if you’re going to a market for food, go during the day, get your food, and go home. Me? I’d rather be home watching Selling Sunset than forcing vibes with no water, no juice, no ice, and no food.
