About This Video

It’s Sunday, so you already know it’s time for a proper reset. In this video I’m doing a full-body revival moment because colder days are upon us (it’s autumn right now) and my skin was in a critical condition—dry, brittle, rough… the whole thing. I take you through my exfoliation + hydration routine from head to toe: hands, lips, face, and body, so I can prep my skin properly for the week and the season. And please—patch test before you try anything, just to make sure your skin can handle it. I start in the shower with my usual double cleanse (soap + African net sponge, then body wash + loofah), and then I go in with a DIY cinnamon shea butter/cocoa butter sugar scrub. Because my scrub is more on the coarse side, I use my hands instead of exfoliating gloves. After the shower, I stay a bit damp on purpose (I refuse to wipe away that coconut oil) and lock everything in with a thick cocoa butter lotion so I can smell like a cocoa butter cinnamon vanilla cake and feel soft, smooth, and supple. Then I do a brightening lip scrub (sugar, olive oil, lemon juice), follow with a charcoal face mask for 15 minutes, and honestly… my skin was giving. This is the kind of Sunday reset that makes you feel ready for Monday.
